Lake Ronkonkoma Beach Reopens

Steers Beach in Northport, Prices Bend Beach in Eatons Neck and West Oaks Recreation Club Beach in West Sayville are closed to bathing due to the finding of bacteria at levels in excess of acceptable criteria. The beach closure for Lake Ronkonkoma Beach in the Town of Islip has been lifted, as recent water samples meet New York State standards.
