Board of Review Hearing

The Suffolk County Department of Health Services’ Division of Environmental Quality will hold its regular monthly Board of Review hearing on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in the conference room at 360 Yaphank Ave., Suite 2C, Yaphank, NY 11980.

The mission of the Division of Community Mental Hygiene Services is to enable persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse and their families to access an appropriate array of services and supports to maximize an individual’s potential within the family and community.

Suffolk County Health Centers, Clinics to Cancel Appointments Due to Weather Forecasts

Suffolk County Commissioner of Health Services Dr. James Tomarken announced that the county will cancel all county health center and mental health clinic appointments scheduled for after 5 p.m. today and before 12 p.m. tomorrow due to forecasts of hazardous weather conditions. Medical, family planning, and WIC patients may call 631-439-1551 to reschedule. Mental health clinic patients may call 631-853-8500 to reschedule.
