In an aggressive move designed to jump start revitalization in the new Village of Mastic Beach, Suffolk County Executive Steven Bellone and Legislator Kate Browning announced an initiative to develop affordable housing through Suffolk County’s 72-h program, which seeks to rehabilitate tax defaulted properties. 

The Pesticide Advisory Committee was established through Local Law 34-1999, which was enacted for the purpose of phasing out the use of pesticides by the County for many pest control purposes.

In the event that a quorum cannot be achieved, the Board of Health meeting will be canceled.  It is advisable to call 631-854-0100 the day of the meeting to find out if the meeting will take place.
