Stony Brook Yacht Club Beach Open

James L. Tomarken, MD, MPH, MBA, MSW, Commissioner of the Suffolk County Department of Health Services, said today that the beach closure issued for Stony Brook Yacht Club Beach in Stony Brook, NY has been lifted, as results of recent samples collected show the water quality to be within acceptable levels.

Bellone Applauds Suffolk County IDA for New Policy to Create and Retain Jobs

)  Today, the Suffolk County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) adopted enhanced Uniform Tax Exempt Policy (UTEP) guidelines. This enhanced policy will assist Suffolk County in keeping and creating jobs on Long Island.  The real property tax relief provided for under UTEP assists commercial and industrial projects that are looking to begin operations in Suffolk County, relocate their business to Suffolk County or upgrade facilities.
